Endacopia Endings Guide: All 3 Endings + the Andy Secret
Three endings, each with its own Steam achievement (Escape, Return, Stay), plus a developer cameo once you have all three. The split happens at two points: the saw you pick in the attic (A vs B) and whether you finished the secret chain in Chapter I (C).
Quick comparison
| Ending | Trigger | Final scene | Achievement |
|---|---|---|---|
| A — Escape | Toy saw | Henry boss fight inside God’s mouth; switch off the light | Escape |
| B — Return | Real saw | Through the sawed tooth to Mellow’s real family; bedtime story | Return |
| C — Stay | All 3 secrets done before bosses (saw irrelevant) | Alt Clockey fight → Surgeon’s cave Q&A | Stay |
| Bonus | All three endings on the account | Meet Andyland at his computer; yeti-nurse dance mini-game | The Yeti |
Ending A — Escape
- In House II open the saw box (471) and take the toy saw; hand it to the Toilet.
- In Chapter III go through the “Don’t go in” door and keep going.
- Henry is the final boss. You cannot hurt him directly: block his mallet (it aims where your cursor is), watch for the lunge-bite, and bait his swing into God’s uvula when it appears — five hits and he is beaten. Holding block drains stamina instantly, so tap it with timing. More on the bosses page.
- Optionally talk to the rescued townsfolk, then switch off the light.
Ending B — Return
- Take the real saw and give it to the Toilet.
- In Chapter III go through the “Don’t go in” door, then through the tooth you sawed.
- Talk to the Toilet creature, continue to Mellow’s actual house, talk to his family if you like, and tell Mellow’s sister a bedtime story.
Ending B is the one that reveals Mellow’s real name (Rodger Thompson) and how he ended up with Henry — see Lore explained.
Ending C — Stay
This is the “true” ending and the long one. The full checklist lives on the Ending C page; in short:
- Prologue: play normally (fighting Clockey or not does not matter).
- Chapter I: bring each area to the point just before its boss, then solve its secret:
- Timesville — catch all 18 fish → Fish Paper → Old Key → windowed-mode window → butterfly → CT-scan memory match in the graveyard.
- Misery Town — metal-detect the projector remote → follow the projected path in the mime tent → halo → operate the four comatose clowns (the fourth puzzle uses windowed mode).
- The Office — telescope at the station → phone number → Morse code BEHIND STAIRS WAIT A MINUTE → wait behind the stairs → symbol puzzles → uncover the hanging figure.
- Beat or skip the three bosses, do the house sections as usual; either saw.
- On the last house visit go to Mellow’s Room: Alt Clockey is waiting (“Now I’m ticked off!”). Beat it — much faster telegraphs, two phases — and crawl into the hole.
- In the Surgeon’s cave read his book, sit when told, and ask anything; when you are done, Ending C plays and Stay unlocks. Our Surgeon Q&A page lists the questions he recognises.
The Andy secret (The Yeti)
With all three endings finished, you can find Andyl4nd — the developer — working at his computer. Talk to him and a rhythm mini-game starts: you dance with him to a song about a yeti nurse. That is The Yeti.
Getting every ending in one save
Save separately before the saw box; play A, reload, play B. Ending C’s requirements are all met in Chapter I, so once the secrets are done C is available in the same file regardless of saw. Several questions players ask (“do I need A and B first?” / “do I need to kill the bosses for C?”) have the same answer: no — only the three secrets, done in time, gate Ending C.
