Endacopia Timesville Walkthrough: Eyes, Clock & Chameleon

Timesville looks like an Animal Crossing village and hides the game’s serial-killer subplot. It is the cage furthest down the Ferris wheel, its boss is the Chameleon, and it holds Mellow’s eyes.

How the clock works

Every building has a clock with six intervals: three day, three dusk/night. Time moves one step counter-clockwise each time you enter a building — never when you leave, never while you stand outside. That matters for three things: which fish are in the water (fishing has three fish per interval), when the Chameleon’s shadow roams the streets (night), and a telescope secret that only works in the first night interval.

Key residents

  • Mirianne — the overworked monkey mayor in the condo, typing endlessly.
  • Beartha — the bear whose PGD has been stolen.
  • Nibbles — the rude smoking mouse who stole it.
  • Catthew — the cat who runs the aquarium and loves hide-and-seek.
  • Charlie & Chloe, Thomas, T, Arthur — the Chameleon’s victims; their homes and graves tell the story.
  • A scuba diver who wants a fishing licence, and a shack where a “yellow party” is held.

Step 1 — Tools

Find the Metal Detector (beach) and the Lockpick; the lockpick opens the middle-left door in Mirianne’s building (a hamster-wheel room with evidence) and Nibbles’ room. Pick up the Camera and Telescope when you find them — the camera scares off the Chameleon’s shadow at night, the telescope is used at the beach and later in The Office.

Step 2 — Beartha and Nibbles

Lockpick Nibbles’ door in the makeshift building: behind his wall is a shrine of photos and items of Beartha — he has been stalking her. Confront him with it and blackmail him into revealing where the PGD is hidden. Return it to Beartha.

Step 3 — Catthew’s hide-and-seek

Ask Catthew to play. He hides in three spots around town; on the last round the “Catthew” behind Ozzie’s gravestone in the cemetery is not him — interacting triggers a scare and the graveyard cat chase (just keep moving). Finishing the game progresses the town.

Step 4 — The eyes

Genesis-01 in The Office tells you (ME GO WORK) that Mellow’s eyes are under a grave with paranormal readings nearby. The graveyard in Timesville is where they are recovered; with eyes Mellow can finally read the town’s clues properly (and you will notice the night shadow following you).

Step 5 — The Chameleon’s tape and cave

The VHS tape titled “for you” — the film MY FRIENDS — is the Chameleon’s puppet movie about his friends pulling the plug on him; it also shows the secret code to his cave. Don’t leave the TV on the final frame (your reflection with something behind you) — it jumpscares. Use the code to unlock the door to the Chameleon.

Step 6 — Fight or talk

The Chameleon swings the stitched-together corpses of T, Thomas, Charlie and Chloe at you; punch each puppet when it rests and he takes damage as it falls (No Strings Attached). Or: ask who he is, answer Ozzie, then say his movie was morbid or impactful, that you resonated with his story, and that you’d call it ironic — he lets you go, unharmed (Case Closed, the only resolution that hurts no boss).

The Timesville secret (Ending C)

Before the boss: catch all 18 fish across the six intervals (I Want To Be A Fisherman), which yields the Fish Paper (use the metal detector on the beach, middle-east sand) and the Old Key. In the small room past the waterfall, switch to windowed mode (Alt+Enter) and use the key on the window. As the butterfly, visit the town, then the graveyard: two CT scans appear — match similar memories by clicking the black dots and pressing the top button. Full steps on the Ending C page.

Optional

  • The Mug fight: after the yellow party in the shack, lockpick the door and use the Transparent Mug on the green mug.
  • Chimeramanticore: use the telescope in the first night interval, connect the stars, metal-detect the Broken Phone, then use it on the white bird in Misery Town.
  • Water Break drinks here: the waterfall and the sipper bottle in Nibbles’ room.
