Endacopia Surgeon Questions: What to Ask in Ending C

After Alt Clockey you crawl into the Surgeon’s cave, read his book, sit down and get a text box. Anything goes: the parser is case-insensitive, ignores question marks, and accepts many phrasings per answer (the wiki lists dozens of synonyms). Below are the questions we confirmed he answers, grouped, with the gist of each reply. Quotes are short; the full monologues are worth hearing yourself.

About the situation

Ask	He says
What is going on / what is happening / what is this	He is performing a sacred ritual; he refuses to let this world die “despite others’ efforts”; there will be a sacrifice with his bride as a vessel — “it’s the only way.”
Where are we / where am I	”You’re in the heart of the beast.” The place shifts constantly; putting organs back makes it settle.
Who is God / the Beast / what is the sinking ship / what are we inside of	”A magnificent creature.”
Are we parasites / are we hurting God	Some are a negative influence, some positive — Mellow has been one of the latter.
What is this house / Henry’s house	An ordinary house abandoned on the surface; Henry found shelter and “thinks he holds some kind of authority.”
What is the surface	The endless desert — what’s left of society above ground; technically habitable, unpleasantly so.
Why am I here / why me	Coincidence, cosmic interference, fate: “You were swallowed by God, just like everyone else.”
Will everyone be okay / what about the others	(He answers — ask him.)

About Mellow

Ask	He says
Who am I / what happened to me	”Your real name is Rodger.” Broken home; fell off his father’s truck; resuscitated; coined the name Mellow.
How did I die	Blunt force trauma by mallet; a miracle he survived as long as he did, “though we can’t say the same for your memories.”
Am I dead	”You are brimming with life.”
How old am I	About nine, judging by the teeth.
Who is my dad	”A deadbeat drunk.”
Who is my mom	(He answers.)
Are you my dad	”In another life.”
Who is my guardian angel / who is the player	Mellow is linked to a spiritual realm outside his understanding — the only explanation for getting this far, “along with my surgical enhancements of course.”
Did I do good / was I helpful	”You did an amazing job.”
Do I matter to you	Of course — “a gift delivered by the universe… in another life you might as well have been my very own son.”

About characters

Ask	He says
Who is Henry / the lizard	The self-proclaimed guardian of his house; his habitat is the desert.
Who is Tip / the sign	A helpful sign with an impressive gut instinct who can traverse the ground.
Who is Scribbly / the mannequin	A mannequin Henry bought online; “just a coincidence this one’s sentient.”
Who is the toilet / the red guy / the parasite	A parasite leeching God’s blood; it has run off or will be rejected by God’s new form. “Good riddance.”
Who is Rodger → ask instead: who is my clone / reflection / fake Mellow	His failed attempt at making another Mellow. (The literal word “rodger” is not recognised here.)
Who is the Chameleon	A broken man whose friends gave up on him on life support; woke up underground and made a hobby of reanimating corpses; malice paved his downfall.
Who is the Trapezist / Ticketa / Ticketo / Boon…	Each gets a line — Ticketa is “the ticket seller assistant from Misery Town… surprisingly content with her career choice.”
Who is the mascot (the blue guy)	“An abandoned mascot for a video game,” dropped for giving children nightmares.
Where is the Bride / the Bride?	Underground; the two CT scans you matched were her two halves.
