Endacopia Dice Game: Rules, Opponents & the Dice Host
The dice room is the loudest corner of the Office: a game show run from a television, three regulars who never leave, and the only reliable way to farm credits before you have a job.
Where it is
Take the elevator to the gambling floor. In the career evaluation, answering badly on purpose (say no, ask for money, claim you owned the company) sends you here as a Strategic Probability Analyst; you can re-evaluate later for the office floor. The Transparent Mug lies on the floor by the elevator — grab it on the way in.
How a match works
The Dice Host introduces the contestants (“Let’s get ready to rock and roll.. the dice!”), then calls “Place your bets” each round. You and your opponent commit to a number, the die is rolled, and the round pays 2 points, 1 point, points to both players, or nothing, depending on how the bets land. First to close out the match wins and the host declares “And that’s game!” Asking her for the rules mid-show gets you scolded — she does not like interruptions.
The three opponents
| Order | Opponent | Tell |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Gerald, “the green mean machine” — the gambler in the suit | No fixed pattern noted; a straight game |
| 2 | The High Roller — the enormous baby (“he’s young, he’s old, and he’s a professional milk gulper”) | Mostly picks three, which makes him the easiest of the three |
| 3 | The Photocopy Machine | Copies your bet — unless you bet three, the one number it will not mirror. Anything else tends to tie |
So the practical strategy is: bet three against the Photocopy Machine, expect three from the High Roller, and play Gerald straight.
Prizes and the achievement
- First win: 600 credibility points plus a vacation trip to anywhere around the world (a plane ticket — one of the office coworkers wants it).
- Every later win: 600 points. You need about 2,100 in total for the vending-machine key cards, the door and the elevator, so a few extra matches are worth it.
- Against All Odds unlocks when you have beaten the third opponent. After that the queue resets to Gerald → High Roller → Photocopy Machine if you keep playing. Full list on the achievements page.
A launch-week crash in this room was fixed across patches 1.04–1.06 (the room was recoded); if you still see it, the developer asks for an email with a video.
Who the Dice Host is
The “dice lady” who appears on the CRT — pale, long dark hair, cat-eye glasses, hoop earrings, long dark gloves, scanlines rolling through her, never seen below the waist. She plays the cheerful host with a hard edge and sways the crowd for or against you. In Ending C, ask the Surgeon “Who is the dice host?” and you get her backstory: the Founder’s cousin. “She never had a knack for business, but she made up for it with a passion for exploitation. The founder found a place for her in the building after feeling the pressure of family persuasion.”
Every other mini-game (soccer, whack-a-clown, bingo, fishing) is on the mini-games page; Gerald and the other gamblers are listed with the rest of the cast on all characters.
