Endacopia Fishing Guide: All 18 Fish & the Clock Cycles

Fishing is Timesville’s long game and the opening move of the Ending C Timesville secret.

The rules

  • You fish at the beach; a scuba diver there cares about a fishing licence — Mellow is not allowed to fish until the town lets him.
  • The town clock has six states: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Night 1, Night 2, Night 3. The hand moves one step counter-clockwise every time you enter a building (not on exit). Entering and leaving any shop is the fastest way to advance.
  • Each state has three exclusive fish. That is the whole trick: if the same fish keep biting, change the clock.
  • A severed-head random event while fishing has been reported by many players; it is a scare, not a fish.

The 18-fish checklist

Names below follow the community checklist used by most completion guides; they match the in-game journal order by clock state.

Clock state (hand position)Fish
Day 1 (upper right)Nautilus · Colisa Lalia · Jantic Fish
Day 2 (straight up)Peter Panini · Seahorse · Singin’ Fish
Day 3 (upper left)Eel · Reddest Fish Ever · Sea Man
Night 1 (lower left)Pirate · + 2 more night catches
Night 2 (straight down)3 night catches
Night 3 (lower right)3 night catches

We only list names we could confirm from more than one source; the night pools are being re-checked and will be filled in with the next update rather than guessed.

Rewards

  • I Want To Be A Fisherman (achievement) on the 18th fish.
  • The Fish Paper — use the Metal Detector on the beach sand around the middle-east part. It points to the Old Key, which (in windowed mode, Alt+Enter) opens the window in the small room past the waterfall → butterfly → graveyard CT-scan puzzle. See Ending C.

Tips

  • Do the fishing before unlocking the Chameleon’s door and definitely before fighting him, or the secret is lost.
  • Night states are when the Chameleon’s shadow roams; keep the Camera handy to scare it off.
  • “Last fish” searches usually mean a missed night-state fish — cycle the clock to each night position and fish until the journal fills.
