Tip (Endacopia): The Talking Sign and Every Hint He Gives

Tip is Endacopia’s built-in hint system with a personality.

Who he is

A short brown wooden sign with hollow eyes and a squiggly mouth. His job, he says, is to help anyone he sees; Henry stole him off his mother’s yard and brought him to the house, which he hates (“full of weirdos”). He and Mellow become best buds over the game. Mellow’s first impression — he “prefers mouth-less signs” — is quickly retracted out of guilt.

How to use him

Talk to Tip in any room (once Mellow has a mouth; before that, interact) and he gives a hint for that room — he is who tells you Mellow is the one with shoes (stomp the cockroach), who warns “watch out” when Clockey appears and offers the combat tutorial, who mentions sharp objects (the Scalpel rope skip), and who, tired of having nobody to talk to, sends you back to Genesis-01 for LET ME TALK.

The Surgeon on Tip

“A helpful sign with an impressive gut instinct. He has the ability to traverse through the ground, though there are limitations.”

Fun

Give him items: cheese (“Cheese!” “Cheese!”), the quarters (“I’m already filthy rich… inheritance”), the plunger (“only for toilets, silly”).
