Endacopia Prologue Walkthrough (House, Wall Bank, Clockey)
The prologue takes place entirely inside Henry’s house and teaches the three verbs of Endacopia: look, talk, touch — except Mellow currently can’t do two of them. He has no eyes, no hands and no mouth; you are the guardian angel clicking for him.
1. Mellow’s Room
You start facing the door. The room contains the desk PC, Clockey (a clock that follows you with its eyes — it is not just décor), the tutorial booklet on the floor, a soccer ball, a lightbulb, a drawing taped to the wall and a hole low in the wall.
- Click the office chair and spin it. The metal shutter over the vent rolls up.
- The soccer ball can be kicked for the rest of the game; 100 kicks in a row is the Footwork Master achievement (see Mini-games).
2. The vents and the kitchen
Crawl into the vent. Skeletons line the walls; the forward path is blocked by a fan, so the only way is down into the kitchen.
- The fridge is locked with a small puzzle; the magnet letters on it spell THE EYES / THEY SEE when rearranged. Open it and take the Cheese.
- Henry patrols the kitchen. When you hear him, hide in a cabinet or behind the tipped-over stove. Being caught is a game over (you simply restart the screen).
- Leave through the vent: a yellow tentacle grabs Mellow — mash A to break free. You tumble back into the bedroom.
3. Cheese, cockroach, coins
- Use the Cheese on the hole in the wall. A cockroach comes out.
- Mellow refuses to touch it (“I’m allergic to cheese” is his comment on the cheese itself), so step on it — Tip points out Mellow is the one with shoes. It drops Two Quarters.
- Click Mellow’s drawing on the wall. Behind it lives the Wall Bank, a brown cube that eats coins. Feed it the quarters and it whispers its secret: “cheshire”.
4. Clockey
Walk to the door and Clockey un-camouflages to block it. Tip pops out of the floor and offers to explain combat; accept it the first time.
Clockey raises a hand to your left, centre or right and slams it — block that side (hold the block on the matching side). After three swings it leans in to mock you: punch it. Three punches trigger phase two (faster loop, same pattern); three more and it vomits black liquid and collapses. Full timing notes are on the bosses page. The fight is optional on later runs — running straight to the bathroom skips it — but it does not affect Ending C despite a common rumour.
5. The Toilet
Take the Plunger from the bathroom and use it on the toilet. A red parasite — “the Toilet” — rises and offers Mellow an adventure if he knows the password. Type CHESHIRE (the full word; SHINE and other fragments are rejected with a joke and you can retry). Mellow is flushed down into Green Hills and Chapter I begins.
Things you can do in the prologue but don’t have to
- Talk to the hallway lightbulbs: if their syllables spell UNDERGROUND from left to right you are taken to a pitch-black room with a candle — see Secrets (content warning: the Bride).
- Interact with the painting in the hallway after beating Clockey — it falls and reveals the Surgeon’s cave; asking who he is makes him sing “Beautiful Creature”. This is your first look at the game’s real antagonist-of-sorts. See The Surgeon.
- Click the Achievement poster later in The Office for the joke achievement Achievement Unlocked.
Next: pick a cage of the Ferris wheel — Misery Town, The Office or Timesville.
