Endacopia Beginner Guide: Controls, Senses, Combat & Saving
The basics
- You are not Mellow. You are his guardian angel. Right-click to pick an action (look, talk, touch, use an item), left-click to do it. WASD moves him.
- He is missing things. No eyes (can’t read), no hands (can’t touch or fight), no mouth (can’t talk). Misery Town gives hands, The Office gives mouth, Timesville gives eyes — details.
- Tip is your hint button. The wooden sign gives a room-specific hint whenever you talk to him.
- Click everything. Background gags are half the game, and a few are secrets.
Combat in one paragraph
Enemies attack left, centre or right. Move the cursor to that lane and block — tap, because holding block drains stamina instantly — then punch when they stop to taunt, scan, charge or rest. Every main boss has a non-violent skip that is itself a puzzle (cut a rope, pour water, say the right words). Bosses & skips.
The structure
Prologue in the house → Ferris wheel to three areas (any order) → back to the house → bosses → house → final chapter. The ending is decided by (a) which saw you take in the attic and (b) whether you solved the three hidden secrets in time. Walkthrough hub.
Five mistakes to avoid
- Fighting a boss before that area’s secret — it locks you out of Ending C for the save.
- Taking a saw without saving — toy saw = A, real saw = B; back up first.
- Ignoring windowed mode — two secrets need Alt+Enter.
- Hitting every clown — only Yellow, Pink, Purple and Red die in the films.
- Reading the core colours backwards — Green → Yellow → Black → Red.
Useful early pickups
Scalpel (Misery Town), Transparent Mug (The Office), Metal Detector + Lockpick + Camera + Telescope (Timesville). Timesville’s tools feed the other areas’ secrets, so many completionists go there first.
