Endacopia Wrench: How to Get It & the Core Key
The Wrench is the middle link in the Office’s item chain: mug → sunflower → wrench → core key → the AI.
How to get it

The man is the one Tip points out early (“That guy’s got a pretty tight grip on that wrench, huh?”). If the plant never sprouts, re-enter the room — patch 1.04 fixed a bug where the Sunflower did not spawn.
Two descriptions exist. The Steam community walkthrough and the in-game text (“I watered your plant for ya” → “Thanks for the wrench”) give the sunflower route above. Some guides describe the Wrench as the payoff for finishing the call-centre job and raising productivity. The productivity meter is what unlocks the core room; the Wrench itself is the bench man’s. Do both and you will not notice the difference.
What it does
- Water cooler → Core Key. Mellow: “Is that the water cooler’s secret compartment? Every water cooler has a secret compartment and everyone knows that… I’m no plumber, but I think that’s how you’d get something out of the cooler.” Use the Wrench on the cooler and the Core Key drops out.
- Core room. The key opens the core; set the colours Green → Yellow → Black → Red (numbered 1–4 on screen) to reach the AI.
- Nothing else. Showing the wrench around gets a line from everyone (Tip: “With this mighty wrench I possess the ability to unscrew screws”; a Timesville villager: “I love wrenches!”) but no other lock uses it.
