Endacopia Lockpick: Where to Get It & Every Door It Opens

The Lockpick is a Timesville item with an Office payoff. Get it early in the village; it is the key to the town’s stalker plot and, much later, to the secret fighter chain.

Where to find it

  1. Follow the jail clues to the shack/treehouse at night before sunrise, use the Telescope on the stars, solve the ant puzzle inside and take the Metal Detector.
  2. Go to the beach and sweep. Follow the strongest beep and dig — the sand holds the Lockpick, the Camera and the Fish Paper (plus, later, the PGD and the Broken Phone). Keep detecting until it stops beeping; patch 1.08 fixed a bug where it went silent with one item still buried.

The Timesville walkthrough has the clock states for each step.

Every door it opens

DoorWhereWhat is behind it
Nibbles’ roomUpstairs in the Timesville condo (the Steam walkthrough: second door on the right)Run the hamster wheel and check the closet: a shrine of Beartha’s photos, a lock of her hair and a doll. Take a picture with the Camera and confront Nibbles — he admits the PGD is lost on the beach
Paisley’s roomSame condo, the party room, after the yellow party is overA suspicious green mug. Use the Transparent Mug on it to start the optional Mug fight
Fight clubOffice gambling den, after the wheel lands on ERROR and the elevator changesTip: “This door has a lock.. one that you can pick I might add.” Matchboxer, Tuna, Danu and the 9 PM fighter
(Timesville, general)The condo’s other locked doors and shackNothing story-critical; the Lockpick is only prompted where a puzzle needs it

Locked doors elsewhere do not respond — Mellow’s line for the Office’s other doors is that they open with neither feeble nor muscular hands.

Things to know

  • Empty rooms only. Residents move with the clock; a guide-writer’s tip is to come back when the room you need is unoccupied rather than picking a lock with the owner standing there.
  • Order matters for the Mug: the green mug fight needs the Transparent Mug from the Office gambling den, so if you did Timesville first, come back.
  • Showing it around gets reactions — Beartha’s “What do you need a lockpick for?” is the giveaway that the town knows what you are up to.
