Windowed mode matters

Two Ending C steps require the game in a window: moving the cursor out of the window and back in on the opposite edge for the fourth clown operation in Misery Town, and using the Old Key on the window in Timesville. If something in a secret “doesn’t work”, try Alt+Enter first.

Volume and keyboards

Patch 1.05 added + / - volume keys; patch 1.07 fixed layouts where those keys permanently muted the game. If you are muted, check the key mapping for your layout and press + again.

Saving

Endacopia saves at fixed checkpoints (area transitions, house returns). Steam Cloud sync arrived in patch 1.04. Because the saw choice locks Ending A or B, many players back up the save folder right before the attic; Steam’s save location for Adventure Game Studio titles is the game’s Saved Games folder under your Windows user profile — search for the game’s name there, copy the folder, and restore it to replay the other saw. Dying in Alt Clockey’s fight simply restarts the fight, no save needed.

Crashes that are features

Pouring water on the AI’s outlet and clicking the Bride four times both crash the game on purpose (the first reopens at the toilet transmission; the second shows a binary message). Genuine crashes — the dice room at launch — were fixed in 1.05–1.06 (update log).
