Is Endacopia Worth It in 2026?
9/10
A one-person point-and-click that hides real horror under a 90s edutainment coat of paint. The puzzles are fair, the three areas feel nothing alike, and the Ending C secret chain rewards curiosity better than almost any adventure game this year — as long as you can stomach the fist-fight sections.
Pros
- ✅ Three distinct hub areas (Misery Town, The Office, Timesville) with their own puzzle logic and boss
- ✅ Every main boss has a non-violent skip that is a puzzle in itself
- ✅ The Ending C chain and the Surgeon's open-ended Q&A give the lore real depth
- ✅ Hand-made art, animation and a 92-track soundtrack from a single developer
- ✅ Runs on almost anything (2 GB RAM, DirectX 9)
Cons
- ❌ First-person boxing fights are stamina-management chores rather than highlights
- ❌ Some secret puzzles expect you to alt-tab or change the system clock — clever, but easy to miss without a guide
- ❌ Launch week had softlocks and a dice-room crash (patched through 1.08)
- ❌ Windows only; no controller support
